About The Event

The Libertarian Party of Orange County is having its Central Committee Meeting and Annual Officer Elections. All County Central Committee members are invited to attend — your participation is important!

***County Central Committee members: Please RSVP using the same name and email address as used in your Libertarian Party of California membership. We will be meeting in the boardroom at the Fullerton Community Center; parking and the main entrance are at the rear of the building. ***

Only current County Central Committee members, who have been members for at least 30 days, may vote on party business during this meeting—if you haven't paid your annual dues, please do so today!

Libertarian Party of Orange County Central Committee members are members of the Libertarian Party of California who:

  1. are current on their membership dues,
  2. have chosen Orange County as their county affiliation,
  3. are registered to vote Libertarian, if eligible, and
  4. have affirmed the "non-initiation of force" statement.

If you're interested in running for one of our officer positions, want a voice in your local Libertarian Party, or would just like to meet other local Libertarians, we encoourage you to come to this meeting. In addition to holding officer elections, we will be discussing and voting on any proposals to amend our Bylaws.

Any proposed Bylaw amendments will be posted on our website (LPOC.org) and the link will be made available in this announcement. Bylaw amendment proposals may be submitted during the Executive Committee, which will be scheduled in January 2023, or emailed to bylaws@lpoc.org prior to that meeting.

If you'd like to get more involved with the party locally, this is a great opportunity for you to learn more about our committees and working groups. All of the work of the party is done by volunteers and we encourage all members to help in whatever way they can.

If you have questions about this meeting or running for an officer position, please email: office@lpoc.org
