About The Event

Come join us in a peaceful protest against the lockdown this Friday at noon in Huntington Beach!

Details:  Protest Against the Lockdown Friday, May 1, 2020 12:00 - 2:00 (let’s meet at 11:30)

Location: Huntington Beach Pier - Protesters will be marching down Main St starting at Olive Ave and ending at the pier.

If you have question, please email:

This is a protest that is organized through another group and we are joining in (Here is the information from their page <>).

We will have the most impact if we do the following:  1) Participate as a group 2) Have Libertarian based signage 3) Wear Libertarian labeled clothing  Please participate if you can, even if you do not meet the above criteria.

Here are sign ideas:  Had Enough? Register & Vote Libertarian; Libertarians Support Freedom of Assembly; Libertarians Support Freedom; Libertarians for Re-Opening California; Libertarians Oppose the Lockdown; Let the People Decide

There are more ideas on the website referenced above. You can get pasteboard and markers at your local pharmacy, or Dollar store, etc. If you are unable to make your own sign, let me know and I’ll see what I can do. We are suggesting not using sticks on the signs.

We are not advocating for disregarding being safe - but for individuals to determine for ourselves our own healthcare management. During the protest, social distancing and wearing face masks are recommended for your safety and for the consideration of others.
